Who We Are
WHAT
WE DO
From connection and community needs to organized, accountable action.
African Diaspora United for Development brings together community knowledge, diaspora leadership, institutional partnerships and practical resources to expand opportunity, strengthen communities and build meaningful connections between the African diaspora and the African continent.
From Mission to Action
One Mission.
Multiple Pathways for Impact.
ADUD works across community development, leadership and civic engagement, education and skills, health and social support, economic opportunity, cultural identity, research and policy, international partnerships and other areas aligned with its charitable mission.
We do not create a new permanent program every time a grant, partnership or opportunity emerges. Our work begins with mission, is organized through defined program portfolios and is delivered through continuing programs, approved initiatives, time-limited projects, partnerships and other appropriate mechanisms.
This structure allows ADUD to respond to community needs and emerging opportunities while maintaining institutional discipline, accountability and continuity.
They do not redefine it. Every activity should have a clear purpose, an accountable institutional home, appropriate resources and a credible path to results.

Different Pathways.
One Shared Purpose.
ADUD’s work depends on communities, volunteers, professionals, institutions, donors, businesses, universities, public-sector partners, nonprofit organizations and other stakeholders willing to contribute knowledge, resources and experience.
Some engage through programs. Others provide expertise, support projects, participate in consultations, volunteer, build partnerships, strengthen research or help implement initiatives.
The common objective is to convert connection and collaboration into meaningful, accountable impact.
